Overview Waters is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of an Account Manager. Responsibilities include driving sales of our full range of products and services including Liquid Chromatography Systems, Mass Spectrometers, Informatics and Services, for the South Region in Mexico. The desired candidate should be a self starter in developing and implementing a Territorial Business Plan working in unison with their assigned specialists and marketing colleagues in delivering an aggressive call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the Account Manager’s role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers’ needs and challenges, designing solutions with lasting and meaningful business impact to our customers. Responsibilities Accountable for assigned region achieving sales budget and for generating new business opportunities within the regionAccountable for the selling of liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, informatics and service contracts into the Pharmaceutical, Foods and Environmental and Contract testing organizations and any other similar markets.Presenting and selling Waters products and strategies, developing business through monthly plans of actionIdentify, build and develop strategic accounts across the region through an aggressive development of new prospects as well as to penetrate competitive accountsDevelop sales in new markets and territory.Fully utilize of our Sales contact management tools and applicationsSubmit accurate and timely monthly sales forecastsKeep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive informationProvide information to marketing team to create business development programsOrganization of virtual or personal sales events at customer’s sites and visit them daily to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with their challengesBuild technical competency on Waters solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource understanding customer business needs and translating them into solutionsUnderstanding Waters and customer processes to allow more effective salesResponding to user requirement documents and RFPs (Requests for Proposals)While the contingency the role will be performed remotely, however this role will require around 40% travel in the future Qualifications Degree BS/Master/PHD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistryMinimum 3 years field sales and/or marketing in analytical industry is required.Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally in LC or MSKnowledge about the trends in analytics in Pharmaceutical Industry, Food e Environmental, Contract testing organizations.Experience with CRM systemsAccounts management and Data Analytics skillsHigh level communication experienceAsset management consultancy know-howEffective relationships with both internal and external customersExcellent communication and presentation skillsAble to work effectively in a team environmentFluent in EnglishAction orientation and self-driven for resultsGood organization / planning / time management skillsAdaptive to dynamic and changing environmentThis job is addressed equal way to women and menA clean driving license and a valid passport will be required;This is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, and occasional travels to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.A US Visa will be required.
